Miriam Bracha Heimler (Dipl. Soz. Arb., Social Work, from the University of Düsseldorf ) is a Therapist and Senior Lecturer in the Heimler Method of Social Functioning. After completing her training in the Heimler Method of Social Functioning in 1983, (University of Calgary) she was asked by Prof. Heimler to assist him in his work. They jointly conducted seminars and workshops in the Heimler Method around the world, as well as treated couples and families in their private practice in London, England.

Mrs. Heimler and Prof. Heimler were married in 1985. After Prof. Heimler’s passing in 1990, she became the director of the Heimler Foundation and a Trustee of the Eugene Heimler Literary Trust.

As an expert in the life and work of Prof. Heimler, Mrs. Heimler regularly gives lectures around the globe, bringing to life both the man and the Method which has transformed thousands of lives. These lectures can be suited to audiences of various types and interests, including professionals and laypersons – either with or without previous training in the Heimler Method of Social Functioning.

For those who wish to go deeper and get a personal experience of how the method works, lectures can be followed by personal workshops. The lectures and workshops can also be combined with viewing films about Prof. Heimler, listening to some of his teaching tapes, and reading parts of his books, in particular his last, yet unpublished book Messages – a Survivor’s Letter to a Young German. By the end of the lecture or workshop, participants will have experienced an inspiring introduction to the Heimler Method of Social Functioning, in all its warmth and vibrancy.

In addition to lecturing about the Heimler Method, Mrs. Heimler has a private practice in Jerusalem, where she treats individuals and couples. For more information about booking a lecture, please contact Mrs. Heimler at:
